Shot Sleeves / Plunger Sleeves

Shot Sleeves / Plunger Sleeves

Overview

Shot sleeves—also referred to as plunger sleeves—are critical components in cold-chamber die-casting systems. They serve as the transition chamber, guiding molten metal from the injection unit into the mold while ensuring smooth plunger operation. These sleeves are precision-crafted, thermally stable, and engineered to withstand the pressures and temperatures unique to machines ranging from 60 to 4500 tons, with lengths up to 1400 mm and bore sizes reaching Ø200 mm.
